“Space is the breath of art.” – Frank Lloyd Wright

Events and festivals present unique design opportunities for creative visual artwork that is often iconic and interactive.

Northland Design & Construction takes care of all the master planning, layout, execution and oversight of artistic components including overall vibe, scupltures and street performance coordination.

Our visual design and artistic projects have ranged from sculptures to the layout and visual design for large music and arts festivals for 70,000 – 90,000 people per day.

Our work includes well-received visual design/site layout works for all of Phish’s large extravaganzas beginning in 1996 and continuing through the jam band’s show in Coventry, Vermont, in August 2004. Recently Northland Design & Construction created the visual design and site layout for Phish’s 2015 concert in Watkins Glen, New York.

Northland Design & Construction has created the visual design ‘scene’ and site plans for: Ben and Jerry’s One World One Heart Festivals; the incredibly successful Bonnaroo music festival in Manchester, Tennessee; Vegoose in Las Vegas; Outside Lands in San Francisco; and the Life is Good Festivals in Massachusetts.
